Shahza Farooq Butt
Shahza Farooq Butt, MS in Clinical Psychology, has been clinically trained from Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP). Currently, she is associated with multiple organizations as an Associate Clinical Psychologist which includes Centre for Inclusive Care (CIC), Consult A Psychologist (CAP) and Kiran Foundation, Lyari. She is also an active member of the Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologist (PACP).
During her clinical experience, she has been associated with Dar-Ul-Sukun, Karwan-e-Hayat, PNS Shifa and Umeed-e-Nau. She has been providing volunteer services for several mental health camps. Furthermore, Shahza has facilitated a number of workshops and training sessions in organizational and educational setups.
For the past three years, she has been practicing and holding experience in treating clients with multiple psychological maladjustments including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Conversion, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, personal growth, anger issues, relationship issues, sexual problems, stress, and academic difficulties.
She has an expertise in counseling and assessments, both psychological and IQ. Moreover, her expert treatment is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytical Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Humanistic Therapy.
Besides that, her work has been presented in a number of conferences, national and international.
